The Security Shift: From Solitary Tools to Ecosystems

The most significant development today isn't a new model, but a collective push to secure the agentic future. With the Open Secure AI Alliance (OSAA) now exceeding 120 organizations, we are seeing a massive mobilization around the Shared AI Findings Exchange (SAFE) guidelines.

Why does this matter? Because as we deploy autonomous agents in sensitive environments—like cybersecurity and enterprise workflows—the surface area for vulnerabilities explodes.

Today's open-source floodgate release underscores this shift:

  • Amazon dropped Strands Agents (for building agents) and Cedar (for authorization).
  • Capital One open-sourced VulnHunter for code security.
