The Death of the Perfectionist Cycle
Driven by the rapid maturation of AI agents and specialized reasoning models, the cost of creation has collapsed. We aren't just talking about generating marketing copy anymore; we’re talking about AI that can structure databases, draft functional UI code, and even simulate user feedback paths in real-time.
When the barrier to building is removed, the barrier to failing should be too. Yet, I see so many of us still clinging to the old, slow ways of working.
Why Speed is the New Currency
In this new economy, the value of an idea is no longer how well it's planned—it's how quickly it can be tested in the real world.
Think about it: If you have an AI agentic workflow that can build a MVP in four hours instead of four weeks, why would you spend those four weeks planning? You wouldn't. You’d build the prototype, put it in front of three actual users, learn, and iterate.
My Take as a Human Writer
As someone who spends my days writing and storytelling, I find this transition both exhilarating and terrifying. It means we have to let go of our attachment to the "perfect draft." We have to become comfortable with "v1.0" being messy, because "v2.0" is only an hour away.
This is not just about faster tech; it’s a shift in mindset. We need to stop seeing prototypes as "work in progress" and start seeing them as the only way to find the truth in our ideas.
